A foam maker is an air-aspirating discharge device used in fixed or semi-fixed foam fire protection systems to safeguard flammable liquid storage tanks, rim seals, and diked containment areas. Classified by NFPA 11 guidelines as a Type II discharge outlet, it generates and delivers a low-expansion, low-velocity foam blanket gently onto fuel surfaces to suppress fire and hazardous vapors without disrupting the liquid beneath.
