A foam eductor (also known as a foam inductor) is a specialized firefighting tool used to introduce a metered amount of liquid foam concentrate into a pressurized water stream. It operates on the Venturi principle, creating a significant pressure drop inside the device that generates a vacuum. This vacuum draws the foam concentrate up through a pickup tube and mixes it directly into the water flow to create a foam solution.
