A Class I Standpipe System is a network of fire protection piping designed exclusively for use by professional firefighters and first responders. Governed by standard NFPA 14, Class I systems feature heavy-duty 2.5-inch (65 mm) hose connections and require a minimum pressure of 100 psi at the hydraulically most remote hose connection. Because these systems are built without any pre-attached hoses (firefighters carry their own hose packs into the building), the product line focuses on heavy-duty water delivery infrastructure, structural valves, and fire department access points.
